The village Episkopi lies about halfway from Rethymno to Georgioupoli, which is about 20Km. It’s a larger village in our area, with supermarkets, taverns, a post office, pharmacy and a doctor. Regular bus connections to Rethymno are available all year. The long sandy beach is about 2 Km. from the village. A rental car would be useful.

Here we offer a very large villa which is, if you travel with a group, a cheap alternative to a hotel.

Villa Lucia has been totally rebuild and redecorated in 2007, and became an elegantly designed accommodation, ready to create the best atmosphere for our guests. It is situated on a hill 500m away from the centre of Episcopi Village, set in a 6 acres garden with lawn, trees and flowers, and with an aerial view of the Cretan sea. The interior size of the villa is around 300 square meters divided over two floors. In the garden of the villa there is a comfortable 50m2 pool with sun beds. There are also some palm trees and a few sitting areas for your relaxation.

The villa is set in the middle of 40 acres full with olive trees and with no other houses around, that makes it unique for those who love privacy and quietness. The villa can accommodate 10 to 12 persons in the 5 private bedrooms situated in the second floor. Two bedrooms have queen-size double beds, and the other bedrooms have two single beds each that can also be double if necessary .There are three bathrooms in the villa, two very large bathrooms with two Jacuzzis, in the second floor and a third bathroom is on the ground floor. In the first floor there is a very spacious kitchen fully equipped and an extra large elegant sitting lounge with a wide 52inc screen satellite TV, DVD player music stereo, fire place and all the other facilities that would make you feel like home.
