The village “Atsipades” is 22 km to the south from Rethymnon. It’s a traditional Cretan village, where one can discover the very essence of hospitality in Crete.
The village has an historical value, since it was inhabited during the Minoan Times, whilst in the area there are many archaeological findings.
Around the area, you can take on several extreme sports, like paragliding (angle riding), walking, mountain biking, or you may also visit the near-by beaches like Preveli, Plakias, Damnoni, etc and relax.
3 km far, at Bale, you will find taverns and restaurants with traditional Cretan food. You will also find bakeries, mini markets and a gas station. Closeby is also the beautiful village of Spili.
“Kefali village” is a development of 3 detached houses, in Agios Vasilis area, in Rethymnon county.
It’s a complex of “Fabrica”, which used to be an (olive) oil-mill, of “Katoe”, which was the warehouse of the mill and of “Athina-Dimitris”, the most recently developed, which is built just above “Katoe”.
They are detached, have all comforts, and can be rent as a complex or individually. They are available all year long, since, apart from the fire-place, they all have central heating.
The external area is 500 sq.m and has stone-built paths that come in perfect harmony with the natural landscape and the rocks around. The ilex and the locust trees around the complex, older than 80 years, create a unique shadow in the swimming-pool and the barbeque area. You can relax by the swimming-pool with the jacuzzi and enjoy the remarkable view to Agios Vasilios.
Fabrica used to be an oil-mill for more than a century, and now, newly refurbished, it can accommodate up to 6 people in a house of 80 sq.m.
Fabrica has central heating and satellite television. On the ground floor there’s a uni-space living-dining room and kitchen, which is fully equipped:

On the same level, there’s also a separate room with a double sofa-bed. On the upper floor there are two double bedrooms and another bathroom.
Fabrica has been beautifully decorated with old decorative features and equipment and tools, used in the past by the villagers for their works.
Athina-Dimitris is built just above Katoe and it’s a new development. It can accommodate up to 2.

Katoe used to be an old house-warehouse, built on a rock-part of which now forms the floor and the walls. Up to 2 can be accommodated in a house of 40 sq.m.
On the ground floor there’s a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and a stove, and a living room with fire-place and satellite television, a bathroom and a double bedroom. The house has a jacuzzi and a sauna room and certainly, central heating.
