THE YELLOW TRAIN

Short excursions to the local villages are organised on a daily basis. The duration of each journey ranges from 3-4 hours. As the train travels at a slow speed you have plenty of chance to admire the landscape as well as to get a picture of the local life. There is enough time for walking through the narrow village streets and for visiting churches, monasteries, museums and other sites.

Our friendly, cheerful personnel are at your disposal should you require any help and eager to provide information and entertain you during the trip. In every excursion you have the chance to get together in a country taverna or a cafe "kafenio" so as to introduce yourselves discuss and have a glass of Raki or Cretan wine.

Make sure you book your tickets in time. Price for each excursion only 15,00 euro. Children up to 12 years half price.
